My family was loyal to the crown of Leipkos, and always believed someone had to take the task of bloodying their hands for the betterment of all. But what it is to do when the ones you act for start to be the cause of such sufferings ? Are we only tools of the powerful?

Personal history

During the Raviel Mass Magicide, Erik did not wanted the legacy of his queen to remain in the royal family in the future. Thus, he sabotage the material for the making of The Everending Scorch: one of the components, a vial of the Queen's blood, was used as a catalyst to activate the glasswork's abilities. He switched the blood with his own. Fortunately, nobody suspected it at first, as his presence near the glasswork for the first uses made it seem like the queen could activate it herself.
He died with members of the royal family and nobles inside the glaswork from suffocation caused by the burning of Castle Leipkos by rioters, the Queen's heir unable to activate the glasswork.

Erik was educated by tutors in Castle Leipkos hired by the royal family, as his father was a permanent resident of the castle and had access to numerous benefits.

Employment

Spent all his life and as apprentice, and later royal executionner for King Armitage and later Queen Raviel II.

Accomplishments & Achievements

His reputation as a royal executioner expanded particularly after the crowning of Queen Raviel II, as she sent many protestor to execution, and sent Erik to capture directly some magicians she was suspecting to plot against her. He however was known to not let executions stretch out, and delivery swift kills.

Failures & Embarrassments

Feeling to have acted too late before the acts of his queen.

Mental Trauma

Having a huge trauma and stress cause by the magicide he witnessed and acted on, the guilt made the remains of his corpse to be reanimated as a ghostly figure, protecting the future and trespassers to use the power that channeled through The Everending Scorch for any other purposes ever again.
