Due to the history and usual influence of the noble houses, The Kaisers have always been elected members of the said Noble Houses.
Requirements
Kaiser must be of legal age of adulthood in the kingdom of Tränenfeld. They must be citizen and have more than 5 generations of residency in the kingdom.

Appointment
The coronation of the Kaiser is usually held a month after the official voting, and starts their duty after the crowning.
The event is considered a national holiday and is celebrated at the capital. Many locals, from dilletantes to high nobles, commoners to clergymen, usually try to take a reservation for celebrating it at the capital, and thus security and tourism becomes very high in that period. Official invites are also sent to other countries to participate in the 3-day celebration. (on future years, only the day of coronoation will be a national holiday for people to rest. If it collides with other holidays, the day after is considered one).
The crowning happens once the head of every Noble House of Tranenfeld comes to delivers their greetings and hope for the future kaiser. The crown is later on put on their heads by the High Officiant of the city,
Duties
Maintain and expand the Kingdom to the best of their abilities.
Make ear of the recommendation of their council and decide upon main course of action, such as military dispatch or investiture of new laws.
Accoutrements & Equipment
The Kaiser is expected to wear official attires during their public interactions, which is usually a military uniform finely tailored for them with the ribbons and medals of their accolades.
In hostile territory, they usually don an half plate that covers their upper body. And sometimes even wear a full armor with the following of a banner holder.
