Subaquan
Subaquan is a language we have left to grasp the full comprehension, as it is still a developing one. Most races we know that uses it are rather young and confusion may still arise in the most proficient of linguists. We are sure a high witch may be behind those, but her existence or demise is still unknown at this point and time.
Writing System
Subaquan uses symbols as they are simpler to read on any conditions, especially under water, murky or calm.
Geographical Distribution
Pelagoi and Hadalic are the main speakers of that language. However, more uncommon races of the depths are known to use it. Rumors thinks the Hohonu or a high witch may be related to the creation of it.
Phonology
Subaquan doesn't use the "th" or any phonemes that would require teeth, as those get complicated to use for a Pelagos (or any other sentient aquatic creature who may not have any.)
Morphology
Morphology in alphabet is often helped by the shape and binary coloring of the words. For example, for a bound morpheme, the symbol will have an full darkened fill.
As an example, to say "walking", the alphabet will be a threedented square followed by a demi-rectangle with three "i" above it, all filled with them, without border. If they were all borders only, it would mean "Wall King".
To help saying it in verbose, the speaker usually holds the first phoneme longer and pronounces the other stronger to notice a connection, without pause. this is often seen as a basic apostrophe " ' " in traduction to earthling text.
Syntax
Antonym are always put before verbs. The usual syntax ressembles strongly that of earthlings.
