The Stolen Words of Fire and Steel

Once was a blacksmith in the valley of giants.His name Bael'mogul. Growing in the society of the giants amongst the caste of Fire, he developed his time in the art of blacksmiting. Since immemoriate times, the caste of fire was deemed the artisans of the art of the forge. Their origins varies, from the gift of a god to a legend amongst veins of iron. But nobody can contest their aboslute mastery of it.

However, despite the talent Bael'mogul had to craft the arcanes of the forge and bent them to his will, his spirit was wavering like a flickering flames. As when he finished working, Bael'mogul was a lustful persona; most of his nights were filled with toxic fragrances and liquids, but also the pleasure of the flesh.

Bael'mogul cursed legacy came once he made the meeting of a dwarf slave by the name of Borob , which the legends forgot the family name. One night, Borob offeed him a drink made with potent mushrooms inducing sleep. Once he gained his trust enough, the giant loved the drink and used it to restore from busy days.

Until one night, where Borob came to give him a fix, Bael'mogul fell asleep. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Borob took the prized grimoire of the giants, from where he hid his recipes and techniques. The dwarf then managed to make the book dissapear and reach different lands. When he came back to his senses, Bael'mogul tough at first as a missplacement. then he slowly started to blame other giants for stealing his techniques. His confusion last years for some years, until the giants heard about the dwarves starting to use the art of the forge for themselves. Most of the giants put the blame on Bael'mogul before raising war to the dwarves for stealing their secrets. But the aftermath was already done.

As judgement, Bael'mogul was cursed by the priests of the fire caste to never craft something ever again, doomed to break everything he came in touch with. Outcasted, Bael'mogul lived a cursed solitude in the Underworld.

This subterfuge gave to humanoid the secrets of the forge, but also the eternal enmity of the giants, especially the fire caste, for stealing their secrets.
