Windrunners Mail Company
The Windrunners Mail Company is an organisation whose purpose is to offer a mailing service for individuals of varied interest.
The service is air-based as the WMC uses Mail-Glider as their couriers, which uses either natural (wings) or artificial (gliders) ways to carry mail or packages through the sky, avoiding any complications that would happen on land, such as water currents or mountain separations.
Their service is considered optimal for middle-class budgets, since they are in the middle in term of cost and efficiency compared to normal couriers and magical message teleportation. However, some military, religious, and political clients find the use of a Mail-Glider a bit more 'safe' as magical means can be sabotaged and redirected to people they won't want information or items to be given to, and the Mail-Glider are under a technical protection by laws.
History
At the beginning, the mail-glider was a way for islanders in the (country of remote islands) to deliver small packages of importance to other settlements, or simply a more efficient way to deliver way from island to island.
Along the years, they slowly developed their area of service as Rocoroc Island was blooming and the demands became bigger.
Nowadays, they lost a bit of clientele because of magical alternatives, but their effort to strive for excellence and improvements makes them still a reliable service to consider.
Territories
While having their main course of activities on the (to edit country), the Windrunners Mail Company also holds some smaller bases of operations in other countries, usually in their capital or similar places with high density of citizens. Small bureaus in other small settlements are also an occurrence, but they can also work in tandem with the local mailing companies as an extra service. However, only the official main bureau in each countries is considered similar to an embassy in term of laws and procedures.
Foreign Relations
Because of their uses as military and political messengers, deliberately killing a messenger on duty is considered a war crime. They thus hold, a minima, a neutral relationship with most foreign countries and other clients. Most relationships with foreign entities for the windrunners mailing company are good as they offer a valuable and good quality service, despite being a bit more 'old school' than some magical solutions.

For payment, the company usually consider 20 pounds max per transaction when paid directly to the mail-gliders. Mail-gliders with Albatros ranks can accept up to 40 pounds due to their higher stamina and muscle endurance. Over that, credits and notes are also accepted. Due to some magical fraud with bottomless bags, those are refused by the company to carry out high payments.
Legislative Body
The legistative bureau at the Headquarters is responsible for updating laws and rules such as package delivery, warranties and regional procedures.
