Twenty years after the Pax Pallidus, ethnic tensions between the Elovisian-descended Coalition of Breakaway Colonies and the Old Voxelian-descended Voxelia once again came to a head.   The Coalition pushed deep into Voxelian territory to get back to their ancestral heartland, capitalizing on Voxelia's ongoing economic depression in the wake of the Pale Hands Crisis. Voxelia's losses culminated in heavy bombardments on Silkenvault, but the tide of war turned when Petalcap Vale intervened on the behalf of Voxelia in exchange for concrete non-aggression treaties.
