Gunnar’s Challenge to Fargrim

During the reign of Jarl Asger Jorikson, an Astari from Buskagar naming himself Gunnar Thorson invoked the rite in order to gain leave to enter Fargrim’s Hold. Once he reached the chamber of the test, the crown began chanting while a horn signaled the commencement of the rite as the Patriarch entered the chamber ending the chanting when he shouted "Khazuk" with the crowd responding with "Khan!" Fargrim precedes to explain the terms and conditions of the test to Gunnar. The two competitors will both smash huge rocks with great hammers. Should the challenger forfeit or tire, they will be subjected to a punishment of Fargrim's choosing. Should the challenger endure, then they will be granted a single boon.
After two hours of smashing rocks, Gunnar's hammer breaks, but he continues once a new hammer is given to him. He then proceeds to win the contest after 3 hours, requesting hospitality as his boon.
