Davi Beyers

Davi Beyers is the cities head gardener. He oversees the health and wellness of all of the city's gardens and food supplies. He makes sure everyone is taking care of the gardens correctly, and he provides any education when necessary. He works mainly at the Gardinya Communal Garden, having turned one of the smaller potting sheds into his 'office'. He is quite the workaholic, with his husband having to come to the garden to remind him of mealtimes and when it's time to go home (Hosef thinks this is quite amusing, and the whole thing is part of their love language).     On a personal level, Davi is 168 years old, having been born in Gardinya Lyra, and never leaving the city. He has been happily married to Hosef Lokal for 130 years, the two having met in University. Although they do constantly argue over Hosef's longing for travel and Davi's insistent need to stay in one place. He needs his husband to do all of the cajolings into adventures for him.
He is tall for a fae, easily the tallest in any room, and he is often seen slumping over or sitting in a corner to hide this fact (he hates to be the center of attention, and gets really grumpy about the public teaching aspect of his job. It's much better to just ask him privately if one is in need of having any gardening problems solved.) He is quiet and speaks with a slight mumble so those larger public classes are not always the most useful.
There has recently been a blight of purple fungus that has been spreading over the crops of the city, it is one that no one has ever seen or has a record of before. All of Davi's free time has been spent trying to figure out what is going on. He's hoping it won't cause a food shortage before he can find the answer.
