Goddess Waterfall Point
Goddess Waterfall Point is the start of the Turkis Blau River. It is the biggest known waterfall system (it’s officially a giant cannon where seven separate waterfalls meet up and pour into the river). The rushing sound of water going over the falls can be heard all the way from the city of Gardinya Lyra, more than a day’s hike away. The rising mist from the falls can be seen well over the tree line. It creates the most beautiful rainbows (and it’s because of this mist that the city of Gardinya Lyra gets it’s signature rainbow glow when looking towards the falls on sunny days).
Goddess Waterfall Point is said to be one of the most sacred spots in all of the Fae Kingdom. It was discovered by the Priestess Sria Lent, adventurer Jont Brent and their traveling party in 1202, when they hiked up the river on the exploration expedition that ended up surveying the whole of the fae kingdom. Their inability to cross the falls is partially responsible for the stop of the fae kingdom’s expansion.
Today Goddess Waterfall Point is a popular attraction for poets, artists, and religious tourists. They’ll get guides from Gardinya Lyra to lead the up to the falls, with the most adventurous climbing up Miracle Cliff (a hundred meter white marble rock face between the second and third waterfalls, and the highest point of the Goddess Waterfall Point system).
