Fures

Fures are almost exclusivley reproductory parasitic organisms, hence their name. They can move around and feed on small particles, but lost the ability to reproduce on their own. They possess a nucleus, which contains the cells DNA, as well as free strings of RNA, which mostly codes the cells coting proteins. They use their cilii to hold on to potential hosts, while they merge with them to take over their reproduction organells. They use their pilum-like cili to swim through the water in search of hosts and food and for holding on and injecting their genome into the host cell. Fures are pretty small and therefor only capable of feeding on Corticeans and free particles in the water. Because of that they tend to not activley move but drift with the currents. Once they find a host - mostly a bigger Primakaryote - they will attach to their surface, using the cili like spikes. Some cili wil then be used to poke a hole through the host's membrane, before ripping their own membrane and injecting the free RNA-Strings first. The RNA-strings leaving the Fures will then lead to the decay of the nucleus around the DNA, so the DNA can be ejected as well. Fures occationally hijack especially big Corticeans, which normally doesn't lead to reproduction, but sometimes can result in a hybrid organism between Fures and the Corticena
