Civilization and Culture

History

The Bakre that came to Markait believe themselves to be a vast departure from their original people. There are not a lot of records corroborating this, mostly oral history and stories passed down through many many generations of tellers. The most prominent figure in their histories and tales is the King of the Deformed. A benign and almost messiah-like figure born out of a strain of their people who deviancies that made them unwelcomed by the rest of their people. This King brought forth these deformed and proved they were valuable to the galaxy.

These deformed people were allegedly among the first of the symbionts that the bakre adopted into their society, but adapted to accept others.
