Loyu

Race

Luyo are mellow and easy-going, generally willing to take directions or suggestions from others. They are by no means stupid but they do seem 'pliable' by other races that seem to have a direction, even if the Luyo themselves think it a foolish notion. This has lent credence to a theory, supported by their lack of clutter in their genome, that they were a genengineering servile race lacking their former masters. They aim to be amiable and prefer to join up with preexisting groups and settlements rather than form and design their own.

Physical Description

Luyo are mammallian humanoids, small in stature, with it being odd for them to grow above 3' 6" and generally much shorter. They have a unique blend of colors ranging from the tans of humans, bright pinks, and teals. Their eyes are as wide in range of color as their skin, from yellows, blues, greens, and violets. What truly makes them a strange spectacle is not even their pallets, it is two antennae that protrude from their heads and out over their field of vision, antennae that produce a soft firefly glow.

Homeworld

Luyo have been deposited all over Markait, though not as numerous as adamkin, they seem to have been deposited near most human settlements during the Life Swell. Thus, they have no one particular homeworld.

Society

Luyo are a subserviant race, looking for a niche to fill in society rather than focusing on their own passions, this does not mean they always agree what is needed in a society. While not aggressive or assertive, if they are given a task to do that they find insufficient to deal with a problem, they tend to get creative in dealing with it themselves. Generally by building a niche tool or finding a new use for an old one.

Relations

Loyu have no qualms about forming bonds of friendship with any person, species, or creed. If they regret this latter, they still tend to participate even if they don't put their whole heart into an encounter.

Alignment & Religion

Perhaps driven by the pliable nature, loyu are generally neutral good and want to make those around them happy. For those people they don't particularly like, they are known to only put a minimal effort forward if not propted to do better.

Adventures

In times past it was unusual to see these aliens in company of star-travelers, generally only being invited along if they've a niche skill. However, a small change has come upon them within the past few centuries, a miniscule portion of them have, what has come to be called, the itch. An untamed wanderlust that can sometimes confuse and even frighten the small people.
