The Nine Ks

The Nine Ks, also called the kombines, are great bodies of commercial and industrial interests that nearly all star-blocs do business with in some capacity. They are differentiated from other conglomerates and commercial empires in that they own enough land and holdings on worlds owned by fully-fledged star-blocs with special leave to write their own rules on their own premises.
