Lockpicking / Traps - Talent

The Lockpicking / Traps 'Talent' gives soldiers access to a database of general security, reconnaissance, and trap construction knowledge. As their proficiency in this area increases, so does their ability to interpret, demystify or solve any areas pertaining to security, lockpicking/ trap deconstruction, analog construction, explosives and auxiliary defence strategies. Soldiers can use Talent points accrued to level up the following skills.   Level 1: Soldiers learn the 'Engineer's Eye' skill. This skills allows players to scrutinise most analogue constructions and potentially discover their weak points so as to be exploited. This also allows advantage on accessing simple door locks. Can use a D6 inspiration on relevant checks.   Level 2: The 'Engineer's eye' skill now lets you assemble your own traps and locks which can be assembled out of both simple and complex materials to varied results (at DM discretion). Get advantage on moderate lockpick checks and advantage trap checks. Can use a D8 inspiration on relevant checks.   Level 3: The engineers eye skill can be used to scrutinse weaknesses in enemies or structures within eyesight of you. You can use this knowledge to: gain advantage against particular enemies , as a means of dealing additional damage depending on your actions, or as a means of uncovering different avenues of defence or destruction. You get advantage on practically all lockpick attempts (at DM discretion). Can use a D10 inspiration on relevant checks.
