The Creation Myths
The Boredom of Bruen
In the beginning, Bruen carved the known worlds out of stone due to sheer boredom and a want to have things to destroy.
The Creation of Bridgor and Brunter
In this creation, he accidentally formed his wife Bridgor from the dust of the stone and his son, Brunter, from the offcuts.
The Origins of Life
He then inseminated his wife, who gave birth to all life on the known worlds, apart from those descended from Brunter: Orthodox Furnis.
The Horror of Bruen
The Linking of the Worlds
After infinite time pillaging all of creation, Bruen became bored once more and opened doorways to alternate worlds. However this led to an overpopulation of weak, infantile men and strict, sour women who would refuse Holy Entrance.
The Creation of the Scarnsh
In a response to the disgusting humans that had come to be, Bruen created the Scarnsh, a race of scaled reptilians whom almost killed off all human life.
The Scarnsh-spawn Migrate to Maruve
However, the Scarnsh and remaining humans, as vile as they both were, interbred and travelled from their original homes in Tellia to the newfound world of Maruve. There they split off into sub-humans that were able to disguise themselves as normal humans and other sub-humans that began to call themselves Yanuvin. This is why Bruen insists that Furnis call all non-Furni humans and Yanuvin what they are, Scarnsh-spawn.
