Immortal gunslinger, immune to aging as long as actively fights crime and injustice. Quick healer and deadly shot, though he will usually opt for minimal possible violence to diffuse a situation.

Fights with an enchanted six shooter, which never runs out of ammo, and protective six pointed silver buckler.

Personal history
Born in 1870, Wayne Buckner was born to former slaves and found his way to cattle ranching. When in the presence of injustice, Wayne found himself quick to anger. Given his color, this got him into a great deal of trouble, but his boss always stood up for him. This endeared the rancher with great loyalty, and when a possee was raised to hunt down bandits he was quick to step up.
The encounter with the bandits did not go well, and the posse was massacred to the man. Little did the bandits know that the battle took place on an ancient burial ground, and the spirit of a lawbring rose to inhabit him.
This spirit had moved between generations, always returning to life when in the presence of a great injustice. It granted superpowers to Wayne, enabling to take up the silver star of the fallen sherriff and bring the bandits to justice.
The powers did not end there, as they effectively made Silver Star immortal until the day he lays down his guns and gives up his quest for justice.

Religious Views
Silver Star is a staunch christian, and is often seen at charity events promoted by the local churches. He attends weekly sunday mass at St Mary's in Mason.
Speech
Silver Star never kicked his texas accent, despite having moved to the big city. He still speaks with the mannerisms of a nineteen century cowboy, but can be found stumbling over modern vernacular now and again to try and seem 'cool'.
