The Silvermane Chronicles
The Silvermane Chronicles are a series of young adult novels written by Stephanie Colton. The books center on Clarissa, a teenage girl who moves to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho with her family. Once there, she is drawn into the world of the supernatural by Cedric, a young werewolf from the well-established Fleetwind Clan. As she draws closer to Cedric, she meets the rakish Jayce, another young werewolf from the upstart Ironclaw Clan, who have recently initiated a battle with Fleetwind for control of the territory.
The series began with Colton's debut novel 'Silvermane', but has since grown into three separate trilogies. A prequel series in in the works, and the first trilogy is being considered for a film adaptation.
- The first two Trilogies, 'Silvermane' and 'Moonless Skies', have achieved worldwide distribution. The first book of the third series, currently known as the 'Wolfsbane' trilogy, is due to be published in Q4 of this year.
- There is a bar called 'The Hitch' in the fictional Coeur D'Alene.
- The upcoming movie production of the first book stars Madeline Rose as Clarissa.
