The Elcor
Elcor:
Elcor evolved on a high-gravity world, making them slow, but incredibly strong. Their large, heavy bodies are incapable of moving quickly, but they possess a rather imposing stature as well as thick, tough skin. They move using all four limbs to support and balance their massive bodies. Given their method of communication, they have highly-attuned olfactory senses. They also have at least three stomachs. Ability Score Increase: A + 2 to your Strength and a + 1 to your Wisdom. Size: Your size is medium Speed: 20ft. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Careful: You have proficiency in Insight and Perception. But your careful nature makes you slow to act, giving you disadvantage on Initiative rolls. Dense Build: You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity, the weight you can push, drag, or lift, and when targeted by powers with a size restriction. Keen Olfactory Sensory: You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception), Wisdom (Survival), and Intelligence (Investigation) checks that rely on smell. Quadrupedal: In addition, any climb that requires hands and feet is especially difficult for you because of your size and weight. When you make such a climb, each 0.5 meters of movement costs you 1.5 extra meters, instead of the normal 0.5 extra meters. Finally, a Medium or smaller creature can ride on your back if you allow it. In such a situation, you continue to act independently, not as a controlled mount. Crossing difficult terrain however is easier for you, and can be crossed as normal. Thick Hide: Your thick hide can withstand significant gunfire, when fired on and your shields are down you take half damage for 3 turns during a fight, after that your body must heal before being able to take gunfire like this again. When you aren’t wearing armor, your AC is 13 + your Constitution modifier. You can use your natural armor to determine your AC if the armor you wear would leave you with a lower AC. A held shield’s benefits apply as normal while you use your natural armor. Tripedal Combat: Due to their massive size, Elcor can only use one forelimb to use objects. You cannot wield more than one weapon or object (such as a riot shield) at a time and you must stow your weapon to use items (such as grenades and medi-gel) or interact with objects. However, you ignore the heavy and two-handed property of all weapons and when you deal damage with a weapon that has the versatile property, you deal damage as if you were attacking with two hands. Additionally, you may cast powers while wielding a weapon.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
