Hydrapede
The chosen watcher of the Fuca’s 3rd key, this three-headed beast is the largest and most unpredictable of the guardians. The Hydrapede lies inside of a deep, damp, and maze-like cave system in Central Europe, waiting for any unfortunate soul to attempt stealing his treasure.
Adorned atop the Hydrapede’s massive body are three heads: The leftmost skull is a venomous centipede, the most aggressive and demonic head of the conjoined monster. The middle head is a millipede, who uses its superior intellect to order the other three around and strategize plans. The final head is a Symphyla, the impulsive one, who abides by the wishes and plans of the millipede, but twists its words and creates something new (and often crueler) out of it.
Hundreds of millions of years ago, during Luca’s conquest over the planet’s monsters, he engaged the Hydrapede and nearly perished in the process. It used its planning skills, intuitiveness, and savagery to gain the upperhand on Luca multiple times. Regardless, Luca beat the beast and spared its life if it guarded one of Fuca’s keys. Since then, that’s where the monster has hidden itself; A primordial cave, shrouded in darkness and heavy air. Crawling its looping halls for millions of years, slaughtering anything in its path.
