Yín-Hùrén and Lèi-Xiǎo
Hidden deep within and endless forest of gingko trees rests the 3rd of Fuca's keys. Not only is it naturally fortified by hundreds of miles of trees, there are many spirits and demons ready to fight to defend it. The largest and most dangerous being Yín-Hùrén, a living gingko tree colossus. He has stood steadfast in his 290 million year watch, before his time there were many other guardians that roamed the forest to help his watch, such as: The Sigillarian, Progymnosperm, the Lycopod titans, whose names have unfortunately fallen into to the depths of time.
And although he is just a being made of bark and sap, he began to feel lonely and destitute after their deaths. However, on a random fateful day, Yín-Hùrén was wandering around when he heard a rustle coming from a bush nearby. He went up to investiagte and out popped a small monkey-like being who was covered in leaves instead of fur. It was a small fern spirit, one of the many types of plant spirits in the woods. Yín-Hùrén stuck out a giant hand and the small creature ran up to it and sniffed it. Yín-Hùrén was shocked as the forest spirits tended to be shy individuals, never coming up to beings larger than them. But this spirit did, and she ran up Yín-Hùrén's arm and sat down in a deep groove on his shoulder, curled up into a ball, and fell asleep.
To this day, Yín-Hùrén and his small friend, Lèi-Xiao, have stuck by each others side for hundreds of millions of years, conversing in their own unique language and playing together daily.
