Reincarnation

Sometimes, powerful magic can bring the dead back to life in a new form, or permanently change to form of an existing creature to that of another. This act is known as reincarnation, and has varying degrees of use and acceptance in cultures around the realms. Sometimes, it is even used as a punishment by divine beings to force a creature to reevaluate its choices in life.
