Shadowfell is a plane of existence characterized by its bleak and desolate nature. It is a reflective plane, most widely understood to be a negative reflection or "echo" of Materia. Adventurers often correlate significant events in Materia with fluctiations in the Shadowfell.
Denizens
The Shadowfell is home to all manner of shadow creatures, and is theorized to by some to be the origin of
Drow. Almost all of the inhabitants of the Shadowfell are overtly hostile to visitors.
