Material Plane of Aerodigm "You're like my grandkids"

Created by

Aerodigm is the calm before the storm. The build-up and prequel to what is an explosive climax for any willing adventurer. A budding blend of magic and science, the first-ever Warforged being lovingly crafted, the struggle between mundane existence and the abnormal. Aerodigm is an exploration of high fantasy's fast descent into chaos, with the tools granted by magic used for good and certainly ill.

Overview

Aerodigm is a high-fantasy world caught at a crossroads. The allure of science and technology is creating new solutions to old problems and creating new problems that have no solution. You adventurers have the luxury of pioneering much of these early solutions and inventions, but will almost certainly encounter the nigh-impossible issues that come with them. Factions have generated centered purely on whether the existence of magic is a blight or blessing upon the land. Academics attempt to debate and unravel the differences between certain kinds of magic and their origin. Scientists are both awe-struck and in disbelief at the possibilities. War is almost an inevitability, with the race to find the most powerful weapon foreshadowing great calamity in the land. Will you adventurers be able to stall the tide of madness? Or will you be swept up and lost in the depths?

The Gods

The primary Gods followed depend majorly upon geography, that which normally dictates lifestyle and therefore the typical culture of a region. However, some areas, such as the rural parts of the Estian Empire, can be somewhat anomalous in their zealotry due to the easy prolification of superstition among folk far from the centre populace. For the starting eastern region of the Estian Empire, the Gods typically followed are as such:

Ao the Overgod

His Daughters of Creation

Shar(Death)
Selûne(Life)

Minor Gods & Goddesses

Amavi(Love)
Dor(Order)
Zadfiro(Chaos)
Talona(Plague)
