Mayor Hesgrim Greythane (a.k.a. Grim)
Hesgrim Greythane was an up and coming merchant in the Gold Crest merchant guild. When a proposition came to him by the Grandmaster, who was seeking a skilled trades merchant to found a new minig town in the continent of Mizu, Hesgrim accepted and in doing so threw away all of his old life. He wasn't much of a family man and so leaving everything he knew behind all for the prospect of gaining repuatation within the guild, maybe being recognized by the Grandmaster? That was everything to him.
His rough and tough personailty is the exact picture of the town of Goldcrest which he founded.

Personal history
Hesgrim grew up in the great Greythane family. One of many siblings he never excelled in any particular area and as such was often looked over when it came to his family. Day by day went on for him, never really choosing what he wanted to do with his life. Soon he found himself stocking the stores for his family. Never running one himself. Always told what to do.
Eventually he grew out of his complacency and moved out of his home town in search of something he could be proud of. His family's name and reputation opened some doors for him where he found himself in the Gold Crest Merchant's guild. Through dedicated work he learned how to run businesses, and finally grew to recognition form the Grandmaster who put him in charge of founding the new town on a different continent.
After he arrived to the town that would be called Goldcrest, he put his nose to the grindstone and built up a small but resistant town that would become a key supplier of ores to the kingdom of Triteia.

Hesgrim is trained in all things business. While he may be knowledgeable he still prefers to get skills through real life interactions instead of books.
