The Gambler's God

The Gambler's God, is a small coin of medium weight, perfect for flipping. On one silvered side rests the boyish but beautiful face of the Goddess of luck, Tymora. The other side is a stark white metal, engraved into it the face of the goddess Lady Doom, Beshaba. 
Hands upon hands have felt the touch of possibility within their grasp. Many pleading beyond hope that Lady Luck blesses them with her visage, to know that good fortune is on their side. Unfortunately, many then fall to doom as luck works in both ways.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Once per day, the coin can be flipped instead of making a dice roll. On Tymora the action is considered to be a Natural 20 and on Beshaba the action is a Natural 1. This luck is only applied to the player that flips the coin.
If attuned the player receives +1 bonus to all abilities and gains the portent ability, whereby they can roll a d20 twice and save the rolls. These rolls can be used before a roll is made and can be amplied to either the player or a sentient target. The roll of the portent will then be used in place of an actual roll. The portents will refresh at the end of a long rest.
