Ice Fields
Geography
From a distance, it's beautiful. Wide expanses of white ice, gently rising into hills and cliffs. It's only when you're on it that you realize how many gorges and cracks in the ice there are.The ice fields cover the body of water and low islands separating Aquimore and Pheaceton, stretching up towards Syle. The ice is often hundreds of feet deep farther north, forming blue ravines ships can pass through. In the warmer portions, the ice is broken into floating chunks, moving with the currents and tides.
Fauna & Flora
Arctic bears and mer live here, above and below the surface. Seals are abundant, often hunted for their skin and meat. Some whales also thrive here, smashing through thin ice to take breaths.
