Aryl

OVERVIEW

The city of Aryl belongs to the Exerian Empire. The city once belonged to the Gralian people but was claimed by the Exerians during the War of the Kings. The Gralian people defended the city valiantly but lost after a bloody conflict that resulted in hundreds of deaths. The city is built along the southern coast of the Exerian Empire and is surrounded by tall walls that were built by the Gralian people for defense against sea raiders and pirates.

HISTORY

Aryl was once called "Oular-Ayr" and it was an important town for the Gralians as it accomondates a majestic, old temple of the Moon Goddess Vestia. The temple was destroyed during the war but was partly restored soon after as a monument.

MONUMENTS

• The Temple of Vestia: An oval-shaped temple made of stone with an impressive dome that resembles the moon, located in the center of the city.
• The Old Port: A number of old ships are kept as decorative replicas in the old port of the city which is located to the western part of town.
