Genesis of Light
Discovery, Exploration
“Let it be known that Man alone is not the subject of suffering in this world, for all we know, the Verun suffered greatly from many a plague. And as the Lord brought warmth to the soil, He also brought death to the Verun, and not expected comfort. Being cursed, their skin turned to dust and their blood into ash, once in the presence of daylight”.
The Age of Light must have been a remarkable time. According to our records, the truth did not stray far away from the legend. It is said that upon his arrival, Lord Berikan, the Sun God, shed light on the dark world of Mea and along with the light came warmth and the melting of the frost. Mea changed. The Verun could not suffer daylight after a lifetime of darkness and thus, new suffering came upon them.
