Tenets of Faith
The church of Alvar believes that the afterlife is only gained by those that have their deeds known, and that a soul only exists in the heavens for as long as their deeds on spoken of in the mortal realm. This drives the priests and followers of Alvar to lives of adventure to constantly expand their own legends, and gain eternal existence in the afterlife.
They have absolutely no use for the weak or for cowards.
