Lady of Crows, Demigodess of Murder and Untimely Death

The Lady of Crows is a enigmatic and secretive demigodess. What few scholars know of her existence believe that she is a child of Robanus and some unknown mother. If this is true, it remains unconfirmed by Robanus or his church who refuse to answer any divinations or questions about the Lady. Where her father is a recorder and natural observer of death, the Lady of Crows is an active participant and trickster. She is driven to lead mortals into engaging in murder, and the normalization of it as a means to solve problems. She counts among her patrons assassins guilds and other illegal organizations who use violence as power.

Holy Books & Codes

There is rumored to be a secret holy text of the Lady, but non-worshipers have only seen fragments of it. Known as the Song of Crows, this text is a thickly veiled holy song of the Lady. Crouched in allegory and metaphor it is said that the song's meaning can only be truly understood by those whose souls are already sworn to the Lady of Crows. It is also said that the Song contains powerful and ancient knowledge about the nature of death. It is said that this knowledge was stolen from the Library of Robanus and his priests have long since searched for an entire copy of the Song to recover this information for their master.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

The symbol of the Lady of Crows is a crow in flight bearing a bloody scythe. It is often tattooed onto her followers. In general her followers will also tattoo themselves with other macabre images as well, usually to mark or celebrate particularly heinous deeds done in their mistress' name.

Tenets of Faith

The primary tenet of the faith is that the ability to end life provides power over it. And the ability to trick others into murder give power over the mind of that person. While followers of the Lady see murder as a sacred act, more important is driving others, particularly innocents, into performing that murder. They see the corruption of the pure to that end the best way to empower their lady.
