Oman

The last remaining great city of the Empire of Entrieties, Oman rivals Talen'Seere as the center of Elf-dom on Lerias. Where Talen'Seere is a melting pot of the cultures of the various subraces of Elves, Oman represents the maintenance of the civilization of the Imperial Elves of the late 1st Age.

Demographics

The racial majority of Oman are split evenly between High Elves and Grey Elves, however unlike in Talen'Seere, the elves of Oman do not separate themselves into sub-races. Instead, any full blooded elves who accept the leadership of the Prince of Oman are considered Omani Elves and can hold any rank within the city. 
The Outer City is where the non-elves of Oman can live, and these are a variety of races that can be found through central Lerias, with the majority of these being Humans. Members of any race are welcome to make their homes in the outer city, but they are held to the same standards regarding laws as any elf. There is neither discrimination or preferential treatment in the letter of the law, though this does not always hold true in enforcement.

Government

The rule of Oman is centered in its Prince Aelrias Summersong, whose family has ruled Oman since the days of the Empire. The rule of the Prince is an absolute monarchy and he is supported by the Archons, heads of powerful Elven families that each have a specific area of influence and control within the city. Examples includes Trade, Defense, Heritage & the Arts, Colonization, Education, Arcanology, Etc. 
The rule of the Prince and the Archons are supported by the Omani Legion, which is organized into eight orders with ascending power and responsibilities. To help the Legion protect the inner city, weapons of war are not allowed within the inner city unless someone is a member of one of the Archon Families or the Legion.

Defences

Given the highly magical nature of the Omani Elves, it should come as no surprise that the city is protected by powerful magics. The Archons of Defense or Arcanology can summon powerful protective spells over the entire city in the event of an attack. 
The 8th Order of the Omani Legion serves as the primary law keeping force in the city, and takes the position of city guard in Oman. In the event of a major threat somehow getting into the city, the other Orders can be mobilized and bring highly skilled warriors and wizards to the defense of the city and its people.

Architecture

The majority of Oman's Inner City is towers of naturally occurring quartz caped with silver and gold spires. The city is faithful to the Imperial Design and is highly ordered. The White Walls of Oman separate the inner city from the Outer. In the outer city, the architecture is somewhat more varied and does show more diverse racial input, but it does still maintain the orderly nature of the city.
