Sepia, the Windrider (Goddess of Storms)

Sepia is the youngest of the Gods of Meaghana, having elevated herself by stealing the Soul Well of Storms from Brilla. Following the War, the acceptance of her Godhood was hinged upon her agreeing to serve the Sun Throne as the Punisher of the Gods and so is also known as the Goddess of Divine Retribution.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

The Priests of Sepia view natural storms as the presence of their goddess. As such priests will go to great lengths to experience the full wrath of any storm, they find themselves in. This can lead to near holy bacchanals during truly powerful storms. Priests who have survived being struck by lightning, and those conceived or born during extremely potent storms (particularly outside) are viewed as favored of Sepia.     Clothing: Vestments are commonly long and flowing so to catch the wind. Many colors are acceptable, though due to the ongoing feud between Sepia and Brilla her priests will often avoid wearing anything yellow.   Temple: Most temples to Sepia are actually small shrines that can found at the sites of powerful storms or places that have been destroyed by lighting. The priests prefer to create holy symbols and then hang them from high places during storms until they are struck by lighting and thus blessed by her. Almost never will the worship of Sepia take place in doors.   Favored Weapon: Bow   Holy Symbol: Bolt of Lightning held in a Female Elvish Hand.

Tenets of Faith

The priesthood of Sepia is still in its very early stages and as is befitting the worship of a Chaotic Neutral Deity has seemed in no hurry to establish a formalized or universal doctrine goals and aims. She is not a goddess of plans or schemes but rather is focused on quickly striking against her foes and overwhelming them with superior power.   She is the physical representation of Divine wrath in all its forms.   Also, she is a goddess of freedoms, she and her priesthoods strive against pointless limitations and see unlimited potential in the chaos of a limitless world.
