Forces of Arakeen and Rai'jen clash in the Sea of Shards

In the year 61, Raider Lord Borrog Flamebeard launched a raid on the Rai’jen holdings on Dalgroth Island in the Sea of Shards. However, he was unaware of the extent of the Rai’jen holdings on the island and was forced to retreat in the face of superior forces.
  Borrog was a prideful man and bristled at the idea of the Rai’jen defeating him, so he called in numerous favors from the other raider lords and returned to Dalgroth Island with a large fleet.
  The resulting battle was incredibly bloody but the Rai’jen forces managed to turn the tide due primarily to their wizards, which Arakeen is sorely lacking in. Borrog was captured by the Rai’jen forces and ultimately ransomed back to his family. Recognizing the power of Rai’jen and wanting to limit their number of enemies Sovereign Korvas issued a proclamation declaring Dalgroth Island a part of Rai’jen and preventing further raids there.
