Opening of the South Gate

Construction beginning/end

The Southern Reaches of the Great Under-Road are completed.

At the command of High King Grimbol, the entirety of Eastforge was mobilized to the crafting of the great under highway. Fifty-three years later the southern stretch of the highway was completed. Stretching over seven hundred miles the roadway represents the single largest engineering project in the history of Lerias. When the southern gate was opened in Jhonust of year 97 the surrounding keep was named Grimbolar in honor of the High King. The keep soon became a trading post for the dwarves and the people of the Badlands, the remaining elves of Whitebark forest and some of the Faeborn Fiefs
