An omen from the skies gives new hope to Medina.

In Astrier of year 54, a wide variety of portents were sensed by the priests and mages of Childres. These portents indicated that a great event was going to occur on the 24th of the month.
  The Half Elf warrior/mage Felaria Sparrowsong, followed the portents and found herself deep within the plains one hundred and seventy miles north of Childres on the night of the 24th. That night, the sky was alive with falling stars, the largest of which crashed to earth before Felaria. She climbed down into the crater made by the impact and was stunned to not only find the hole filled with nearly molten star metal but in the center of the crater was the Faeborn Crown completely undamaged by the impact.
  Recognizing this as a divine occurrence, Felaria gathered the star metal and the crown and forged five magical blades from the metal. With these blades, she sought out four noble warriors of her acquaintance and the five of them formed what came to be known as the Knights of the Crown. The holders of the Star Swords were named the Knight’s Council and chose to head the new knighthood as a group.
