A powerful wizard builds a tower in northern Medina.

In the year 163, the Wizard Dranthen Bhaal, entered the plains from the Stonesong mountains. A powerful wizard, Dranthen claimed a large section of the lands northeast of Stardale for himself. Rapidly he made contact with other warlords in the area and allowed them to settle on his lands in return for mutual support and defense. Dranthen and the villages under his organization hold no loyalty to either Stardale or Childres and their presence has upset the power balance in the plains.
