Faun

Fauns are bipedal nature spirits with the furry legs and short tail of a goat or deer, and the head, arms and torso of a humanoid with either goat like horns and visage for males (who are also referred to as satyrs) or a deer like antlers and visage for females. Both genders usually sport pointed ears. Fauns tend to be good natured and peace loving to the point of timidness, although they are renowned for their boisterous and revelous nature, particularly when music or drink is involved. Fauns focus their efforts on artistic and leisurely pursuits, preferring to avoid confrontations and conflicts whenever possible. Their placid nature combined with their willowy physique makes for a race of scholars and poets rather than warriors.
