Forged
The vast variety of creatures collectively referred to as Forged are either wholly artificial beings animated by magic (commonly referred to as golems) or have had enough of their original body replaced with magically driven clockwork components that they are no longer considered to be entirely mortal. The latter of which are known as half golems, half souls, or ‘tickers’, depending on company. Either process involves a series of complex and costly magical rituals where their flesh is partially or fully replaced with stone, wood, porcelain, clay, metal, and/or the resti tched flesh of other beings, making them at times eerily beautiful or downright monstrous depending on the form and materials.
Their mostly inorganic nature makes Forged virtually immune to diseases and poisons and their bodies are easy to maintain via magical or mundane methods. The process also makes them more susceptible to petrification effects, and restorative effects that are better suited for organic creatures are less effective on them.
