Scalekin

Scalekin are known by many names and many forms: Draconians, Kobolds, Lizardfolk, Naga, Ophidians, Saurians, Serpent men, Troglodytes, and so on. Much of this vast variety of bipedal reptilian creatures claim ancestry from dragons (commonly referred to specifically as Dragonkin), whereas others claim lineage from great serpents, reptiles, or such.

Whether or not such claims are true depend on the individual, but many a scholar has noted that despite their varied appearances and ancestry, Scalekin (as they tend to be collectively referred to), share many similar traits: all are naturally resistant to both fire and poison, but their cold blooded nature tends make them somewhat lethargic and more susceptible to sleep effects.

And although subspecies tend to differ to some degree, all Scalekin have prominent claws they can use as weapons and tend to be temperamental creatures when compared to warm blooded races.
