Ogroids are large, burly, deformed, bipedal monsters that roam the lands and tend to live alone. They are very territorial and will usually attack any threat that enters its territory, whether mortal or another monster. They are one of the few monsters able to cast spells. Ogroids vary greatly from species to species in terms of abilitys, size and nature, though one thing they all share in common is that they are all very physically strong, thick skinned and ugly, often having some kind of deformity. Ogroids aren't particularly common due to their territorial nature, and they tend to live in secluded areas as they hate mortals constantly invading their space. They're more intelligent than most monsters, capable of speech, construction and devloping cultures similar to Goblinoids, though they are still pretty stupid in comparison to the mortal races. Also similarly to Goblinoids, some scholars argue for Ogroids to be classed as mortal races due to their similar morphologies and intelligence level.
Ogroids enjoy the company of other monsters, particularly beasts and Goblinoids. Whenever an ogroid is found, it isn't uncommon to find them ruling over a settlement of Goblins, and a lot of them keep direbeasts as pets, particularly direwolves, wargs and sabretooth cats.
