Melianor is a land of magic and monsters. It draws majorly from Eastern European and Asian cultures. Although it is considered to be one land, there isn't one governing body. It is instead split into different kingdoms and factions. There are legends that the land used to be united, before it's last ruler became corrupted by some evil force, turning on their court, and then their people. However, no one knows this to be true. Melianor is split into five major countries, with other, smaller lands and factions also scattered around.

  • Sirmoor is the biggest, with a large trade sector. Deep within the mines near the capital of Davar, a new energy source has been discovered.
  • The Kingdom of Aspar is the second biggest, ruled benovolently by the Arcarn family.
  • The Lazican Empure is the third largest, a largely militant body with a heavy focus on strength and stoicism
  • The Divine Principality of Vitalis is the fourth largest, populated mostly by magical medics and scientific doctors, the majority of whom are devout worshippers of the Sun Goddess of light and life.
  • The Kingdom of Vosmead is the smallest, a fledgling refuge for those considered to be users of 'evil' magic.
  • Vosmead - the setting of the first campaign - was founded to be a safe haven for stronger magic users after a plague that took place within Aspar many years ago. However, a few decades ago, a thick fog descended over Vosmead, and those that go in often do not return. Those that have returned come back... changed. Some patrols even execute those that bear signs of escaping Vosmead, not wanting whatever curse has infected that land to get out and seep into the rest of the world.   However, it is common knowledge that Aspar lost many of its treasures during the Exodus, most of which are within Vosmead for those brave enough.
