Choria

An evil being that inhabits the abyssal regions of the world. Chorias are cruel creatures that disturb the perception of intelligent beings for their own favor, often putting friends and family against each other. Once the allies kill each other, the Choria then feeds on the bodies and finishes off the injured survivors. The Choria uses the memories and feelings of it's prey against themselves.

Origin

These creatures are spawned when an intelligent, sentient being dies in an abyssal place and their bodies aren't burnt, buried or sanctified. The soul of the dead then gets corrupted by darkness and the Choria is spawned, with the sole purpose of feeding and ending the existence of the living.
