Elune Empire
"Under the boundless sky, all lands bow to Elune; from the farthest shores, all are its subjects."
Settled to the extreme south of Mellanvärlden, Elune is a distant empire known for its richness and exotic trade, reason as to why it has earned the moniker of "Land of Jade". Its people, the Elunai, are drawn to spirituality, discipline, tradition and honor, for the few, rare adventurers from Elune that do travel far enough to reach Mellanvärlden are seen both as cryptic and noble - their language alone posing as enough of an obstacle for most interactions. They mostly trade with the small principalities and insular nations of the Attakai/Laal sea (named differently by Ladakhians and Elunai), in which they import spices and fine textiles from northern
Brandjorden while selling all manner of precious gems, jewels and metals - Struntine and Ederin (a metal alloy made from Ederite and Struntine with incredible thermal resistance). The Elune Empire is also quite unknown by much of Människar, given the Men of Winter rarely sail that far south and have little resources to offer for the Elunai, who prefer to trade with Kaliin Union and Ladakh, who in turn resell the precious materials, such as jade, with the northerners. It's also noteworthy that the waters around Mount Ladakh are often infested by pirates and corsairs from Brandjorden, coupled with the fact the volcano itself is often active, causing storms and seaquakes.
The Coat of Arms of Elune depicts an enormous Hydra over a jade green field, a symbol of the many provinces and small kingdoms that make up the empire - severing one head will only bring the ire of all others.

Elune stretches across thousands of miles over its continent while also holding countless insular territories. Compared to Människar, Thortyr is roughly 4/5 of the empire's territory.
