Sargon Ivan †
Obedience is an act of faith, disobedience is the result of unbelief
(a.k.a. The Mad)
The former Arch-Priest and King of Arialor, Sargon "One-Eye". He was known by many to be a madman that claimed to have visions and be capable of communicating with Arior, the great god of Larianor. With this claim, he ruled over his kingdom ruthlessly, spreading fear and superstition to it's population.
History
Before being Arch Priest, Sargon was a governor of the Eastern lands of the fallen kingdom of Snadov, who one day got struck by a magical spell that blinded one of Sargon's eyes but also gave him his visions and "powers". From that day forward, Sargon ploted a grand scheme and, after two years, he declared independence of the entire province and established the theocracy of Arialor.
The King of Snadov, Mordor Dabrowski, tried to stop Sargon, but rumors tell of an mysterious golden warrior that appeared and killed Mordor in his very throne room. With that event, Snadov ceased all hostilities and left Arialor in peace.
He died in 1015 as his health deteriorated, his lunacy only worsening his condition. He was succeeded by Remus Ervyk, arch-bishop of the Arialist Sect.
