While magic is shunned, feared and despised in the mortal realm, elsewhere exists a place where the opposite happens. Hidden amongst stars, nebulae and surrounded by the vastness of the cosmos lies The Academy, a wondrous, glorious and magical city built solely with magic, for the sole purpose of creating a "world" in which wizards can live and practice their arts. It is not only an incredibly safe and hidden place from the rest of the world, but is also a beacon of knowledge amongst all the realms, where archmages, wizards and sorceresses can learn, study and develop the gift of Magic without the constant fear they'd bear in the Mortal Realm. In the Academy, they are safe not only from inquisitions and witch hunters, but also from "the others", incredibly dangerous and horrendous creatures that hunt those marked with the gift of magic.
