Thieves Guild of Zijincheng - Black Hoods
The thieves guild of Zijincheng is an organisation that has its origins rooted in the Great Peasant Rebellion, where it was first founded as a way to smuggle weapons and supplies into the city, along with stealing them, in order to support the rebellion. But when the rebellion was squashed, they kept functioning, now acting as a thieves guild, but with a different goal from other cities.
They call themselves the Black Hoods.
Unlike other thieves guilds, the leaders and subordinates of the leaders are tasked with one primary goal, which is to make the poorer parts of the city more sufferable to live in. They steal from the rich parts of the city and donate to the poor. That is why they run a center for the less fortunate with free food and temporary housing with a portion of the profits gained thanks to the underground operations.
The initiates to the organisation are tasked with stealing from either a trade caravan or a rich household. If they succeed in doing so and get away with it, they are allowed into the rest of the guild and may use their services that allow them to smuggle or fence items.
Any member of the guild is kicked when it is discovered they were stealing from less fortunate folk.

The thieves guild of Zijincheng see the upper classes of the society as well fed pigs, and think that some of their wealth should find themselves inside their own pockets.
However, they also believe in the protection of the less fortunate and thus stealing from the poor is immediate expulsion from the guild.

The organization was founded after the Great Peasant Rebellion, aiming to gain enough money and supplies to keep supporting the rebellion. After the rebellion was squashed, the organization kept operating underground.
