Dwarf

Created during the Forging of the World, Dwarves are the remnants of living stone that fell during the creation of the Giantkin. Stubborn as the stone they were molded from, Dwarves prefer the mineral filled caverns of the mountains that call home. Known for their use of metals and gems to create magical conduits, dwarves rarely use magic themselves, though scholars believe that their flame craft and transmutative abilities are subconscious enchantments. Many Dwarves worship the gods differently than others on the mortal plane, giving them different names and aspects that clerics disagree with, but fighting a dwarf on their principles is like trying to move a mountains by pushing.
During the events of the Sundering, many Dwarves that fought along side the elves and humans changed, growing taller and adopting tusks. These entities also lost much of their longing for the underground and chose to grow and live among the topfolk, mating with giantfolk and growing larger or with humans and elves and adopting the features closer to those races, which was uncommon for Drawfkind, since Dwarf genes tend to be very dominant. The Orcs of today no longer resemble their Dwarf brothers and are more closely related to goblinkin.
