Owner of the Fairwood Tourney grounds south of King's Landing over the Blackwater river, Anthony is a business driven man, eager to profit off the higher lords who want to make use of his equipment and grounds either for practice or duels, or sometimes to host grand tourneys. In 407 AC, the year Queen Visenya was crowned, she hosted a minor tourney in at the Fairwood grounds at King's Landing, for which Swan and Oak were in attendance. The Fairwoods are a very minor house of the lowest of nobility (some may even consider them practically smallfolk). The Fairwoods live in a manor not far away from the tourney grounds, bearing their family name since the ascension of King Aegon V, who granted more rights for the smallfolk, to the joy of the Fairwoods. After the death of the previous owners of the old and decaying tourney grounds, they were bought by a local horsebreeder named Arlen Fairwood. He rebuilt and renovated the tourney grounds to what it still is today. Some of the later Fairwoods have expanded on the original layout of the grounds, such as an expansion of the stables and additional jousting strips. Anthony's father saw to it that the grounds would have an additional larger melee ring, filled with the finest sand from Dorne. Anthony is an introverted but thoughtful man, who knows what he wants and how to get it. He has many connections in and around King's Landing. His assistant Hubard Darkwood is one of the hardest working man in Anthony's employ. And despite his ambition and greater dreams, he remains a humble man in Anthony's presence. The two are working tirelessly to gather more prestige for their enterprise. Perhaps King Otho would host a grand tourney here one day. And when that happens they need to be ready.
