Banefort
Banefort is the seat of House Banefort in the northwestern westerlands. It is situated along the coast of the Sunset Sea north of the Crag, near the Iron Islands, and is only two days' sail from Pyke. An imposing castle, few have ever been able to successfully take it from House Banefort. Rumors say the castle was built with dark magic by the Baneforts centuries ago and thus taking it by anyone else but them would curse them and their children. With Iron Born raids no longer of a concern as House Banefort is half Iron Born by blood now, it is mostly now a fortified castle used for training.
