Related Character Bio

The Company of the Cat's Captain-General, born to a bloodrider of Khal Furo and a kidnapped Lysene noblewoman. He was mocked growing up for his foreign appearance, and constantly chafed at the abuse his mother endured. She was perhaps the only thing he loved on the Dothraki Sea, and it was through her he learned much of the skills he'd eventually use in the Free Cities. When she finally caught a wasting disease and passed, he finally took his leave of the Hazdahn Horde. It was wandering the Sea alone that he performed his perhaps most infamous feat: slaying a hrrakar on foot. With a rock. Constantly told of his Lysene heritage, he inevitably sought out House Moraqos next, home to his mother's blood. After several years of sellsword work, he did eventually find his way to them. Refusing to even hear his story, they beat and cast him out for daring to use House Moraqos' name. Though he still carries the names of both cultures that rejected him out of spite, it was only after this that he began calling himself after the dothraki lion he slew. Pelt of which he still carries to this day.   He has been a member of over a dozen sellsword companies, including the Second Sons, Windblown and even the Golden Company before landing in the Company of the Cat and seizing control. Their profile rose most dramatically in the Great Awakening, taking important roles in liberating Myr and Braavos. In the wake of Revan's death, Tybero Edoryen, a friend of Hrakkar and high ranking GC lieutenant, even joined for a time, making the Cat a truly fearsome outfit. Whispers of them being the new Golden Company increased recruitment a hundredfold. Hrakkar's choice to sit out the War of the Seven Cities saw his outfit grow even stronger, as it swallowed all others that survived it. And they now had every City left vying for their protection due to all others being decimated. He chose the contract that took him to Pentos. As Hrakkar has come to value power.
